Thank You for supporting our 1st Empty Bowls at Home Fundraiser!
We would like to take this time to thank our community for such an overwhelming response to our 1st Empty Bowls at Home! Thanks to YOU, we raised over $30,000 that will contribute to supportive transitional and permanent housing for individuals and families in our community. Thank You!
We celebrated our 1st Empty Bowls at Home Fundraiser by offering guests DIY Soup Kits to take and enjoy at home. On Thursday, March 25th and Friday, March 26 we opened our pick-up collection points at Ferox Winery, and 13th Street Winery for attendees to come and safely pick up their chosen kit. Guests received one of a kind pottery bowls, Niagara wine, and delicious bread and desserts to compliment.
Thanks to four talented Niagara Chefs, Guests got to make their own gourmet soup and enjoy a step-by-step tutorial video. This year's event was an entirely new concept, and we are happy to have raised the funds to put towards our support services and programs.
Although our fundraiser is over, we encourage you to try out some of these amazing soup recipes yourself and follow along with the video at home!
Thanks to all the support from our sponsors, vendors, potters, donors, attendees and volunteers for continuously making our signature fundraising event a success, year after year!
