The vision of the United Way of Niagara Falls and Fort Erie is to connect, leverage and encourage relationships to build a better community.
The United Way of Niagara Falls and Greater Fort Erie provides funding for our Community Support Worker at Kenmore Court in Niagara Falls. Our onsite and community support program addresses basic needs that help applicants and tenants, many who were victims of domestic violence, mentally and physically challenged, previously homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, to make a successful transition to having a stable home and tenancy.
The United Way of Niagara Falls and Greater Fort Erie has two Funding Priorities. The first priority takes precedence over the second one.
1. Ensuring Basic Needs for All
Access to safe, affordable shelter and a reliable, healthy food source.
2. Providing Secondary Support for Targeted Groups
From time to time, populations in our community need additional help to address issues and overcome barriers. These are people affected by a disability; people facing literacy issues; newcomers and children and seniors at risk.
