Kaylah Zarger began volunteering with Bethlehem Housing and Support Services as an intern in October of 2017. She heard of Bethlehem through one of her courses in the Business Communications program at Brock University.
Jimi Russell is well known throughout the Niagara community for his continuous volunteer work.
Dawn Gordon has been volunteering with Bethlehem Housing and Support Services for over 10 years.
Madison first heard about Bethlehem Housing and Support Services in June of 2016. After having done some research on Bethlehem, she was very intrigued by what we had to offer and decided to volunteer at our Child and Family Centre.
Drew is a long-term member of the St. Thomas Church, which is one of the downtown churches that helped to create Bethlehem Housing.
Cam and Sarah are graphic designers at Brand BLVD who generously donated their time and talent to create our new Housing Hero logo!
During National Volunteer Week, we had over 40 volunteers from Brock University’s Staff and Faculty to help begin prepping the site for the revitalization and redevelopment of the Bethlehem Place playground and extended yard, to create an inclusive naturalized environment and play area.
A group of second year students in the Niagara College Broadcasting – Radio, Television and Film Program created an informative and promotional video for the Bethlehem Place Naturalized Playground.
The renovation to our 28-year-old playground began on Tuesday, April 18th thanks to the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP).
Bethlehem’s Board President, John Lee, kicked the celebration off with acknowledgements for the contributions our volunteers have made over the past year. With an incredible 3,360 total volunteer hours it equates to over $50,000 of pay at an hourly living wage!
