The Niagara Community Foundation improves the quality of life for Niagara residents through philanthropy.
Bethlehem greatly acknowledges the financial support of the Niagara Community foundation, which is a public foundation serving the people of Niagara. The Foundation Builds permanently endowed charitable funds for the changing need and opportunities of the community and provides grants to eligible charitable organizations in culture, health, education, recreation and social service sectors.
The Niagara Community Foundation provided financial support for the Naturalized Playground project at our Bethlehem Place location. Because of their generous support, the playground was built in May of 2017.
The Foundation also provided financial support for the development of our new website and members portal.
Bethlehem Housing and Support Services has signed on with The Niagara Community Foundation's Legacy Partners Program, which provides us with five years of support and resources to develop and implement a program to secure bequests and other estate gifts from our loyal donors. The gifts secured through this program would be placed in an endowment fund at the Foundation and the income earned would provide a sustainable revenue source. The Bethlehem Housing and Support Services endowment fund will allow us to uphold our ability to continuously provide housing and support services for families in crisis now and in the future.
