Tammy McIntyre: Housing Services Administrator

We are pleased to announce that we have created a new Housing Services department with a new Housing Services Administrator position. Tammy McIntyre brings years of experience in non-profit housing administration, tenant case management, centralized housing intake and a background in accounting.

Tammy worked in the Halton Region for many years in the areas of Homelessness and Mental Health. She is experienced in helping  clients with complex needs receive the right service at the right time using a client-centered case management approach. While working in Halton Region she was the central point person for organizing information and referrals for staff and clients and she used her strong administration and logistical planning skills to coordinate major events, staff training opportunities and client related programs. She participated in numerous committees and workshops and received certifications in Health Equity, Indigenous Cultural Training, Addictions and more.

Bethlehem Housing has streamlined our property management function to now include a dedicated Housing Services department with a focus on tenancy supports. The department will be under the management of our longstanding employee Kathy Fraser. We are pleased to welcome and introduce Tammy McIntyre to the new position of Housing Services Administrator.

Within a framework of eviction prevention and building strong relationships with our tenants, Tammy will be the central point of contact for addressing tenant needs and supporting the administration of their rent accounts.  Her calm and kind-hearted character is equally matched by her compassion for clients to achieve their goals for successful tenancies.

We are excited to offer this important extension of support services for our tenants and to have Tammy with us to launch our new Housing Services department.
