Niagara Area Jeep Club Raises a $4000 Donation for Bethlehem

On August 24th, 2019 if you owned a Jeep, the challenge was to get it as covered in as much mud as possible! This year’s annual Niagara Jeep Fest featured new mud-pits for eager members and guests to experience a bit of off-road messiness.

Larger crowds gathered for the 2019 Niagara Jeep Fest at the new Welland Fair Grounds location. The Niagara Area Jeep Club can boast both larger crowds and an increase in Jeep entries. 2019 saw approximately 150 Jeeps registered. That’s an approx. 30% increase in attendance from 2018.

Other activities and attractions included a vendor fair, a good old fashioned hot dog and hamburger stand, an ice creamery merchant, prizes for best in show, raffles, a penny sale, Jeep games and much more for the whole family.

Members of The Niagara Area Jeep Club organize this event as a way to combine having fun and enticing new members to join. All the while, they are raising awareness of the affordable housing crisis in Niagara and raising funds for Bethlehem Housing and Support Services too.

We would like to thank Janina Machnik-Montagna who was the lead coordinator as well as all of the committee members and volunteers who helped make this event a huge success. Together you raised $4000 in support of our programs and services. Thank you for all of your hard work and for organizing this amazing event! We are already looking forward to Niagara Jeep Fest 2020.

The Niagara Area Jeep Club (NAJC) meets every Sunday at 6pm at Tim Horton's on Hwy 20/Merrittville Hwy intersection in the Welland/Thorold/Fonthill area. Anyone with a jeep or interest in is welcome to join the meetup to discuss events and jeep business, or to grab a coffee and just hang out. The club members describe themselves as a family that respects and upholds the tread lightly mindset. They off-road on crown land and organize social events throughout the year for their membership.
