Ride for Refuge 2021

We are happy to announce that Bethlehem Housing has partnered with Ride for Refuge 2021!

What is Ride for Refuge? The Ride for Refuge is a family-friendly fundraiser held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in support of charities that provide refuge and hope in Canada and around the world. It is a Covid-safe fundraiser that supports charities working with displaced, vulnerable, and exploited people everywhere. Ride for Refuge is a program with the Blue Sea Foundation, who also runs the famous ‘Coldest Night of the Year’ event. Blue Sea’s vision is to see a more generous world where charities thrive.

Typically, this event is based on a 5km walkathon or 10km bikeathon but we want to be extra safe, and not gather in a big group. RIDE Freestyle! Register yourself with Bethlehem Housing and Support Services, gather close friends or family and fundraise while doing something that you love.

Click here to for examples of how you can freestyle your fundraiser.

At this time we are looking for a minimum of 10 teams to gather together their own group, and fundraise! Teams can be from just 1 person to 10 people! We have a BIG goal of $20,000 and we hope that you or someone you know would be interested in participating! Can't participate? You can support a team by making a donation on their personal fundraising page here

Thank you for standing up (and signing up) for all those who are so deeply affected by a callous world that ignores their pain, their needs, and their great potential.

Proud United Way Partner.
