Over $15,000 in net proceeds were raised at the 2014 Kenmore Homes’ Amazing Race car rally for Bethlehem Housing, that was held Sunday, August 24, 2014. Nine spirited (and colourful) teams competed in the fundraising event that started and finished at Walker Industries Head Office and raced throughout the Niagara Region.
The theme at this year’s race was the Olympic games – with a twist! There were four secret locations that participants had to decipher clues to find. Once there they were scored points on activities such as a t-shirt relay, pool noodle javelin throw, biathlon, paddling across the Welland Canal, a hockey obstacle course and an Olympic trivia to name a few.
